Backend Developer | Python, Django

My journey into technology and programming began with a passion for web design. I started by creating simple websites, which led me to learn JavaScript and expand my understanding of interactive web elements. This foundational experience with web technologies sparked a deeper curiosity about how digital content is created and manipulated, prompting me to dive into 3D modeling. This was a turning point, where my interest shifted towards the creative and technical challenges of visual effects (VFX).

As I progressed, I began exploring Houdini's VFX and procedural generation. I learned Houdini’s scripting language, VEX, which opened up new doors for me, as it combined my love for creativity with a more technical, algorithmic approach. The experience I gained from working with VEX allowed me to appreciate the power of code in creating complex, dynamic visual systems—an experience that greatly influenced my transition into programming with Python.

Python became the primary language in my toolkit, and it’s where I truly found my stride. I used Python to build a variety of projects, from procedural map generators for tabletop RPGs to diving into more complex areas. One of my standout projects involved creating a map generator using Python, which integrated procedural techniques and complex algorithms to produce detailed, customizable maps. This project, among others, allowed me to combine my design and programming skills to create effective, user-friendly solutions.

Throughout my journey, I have had the opportunity to work in different areas. These experiences sharpened my problem-solving abilities, improved my communication with clients, and helped me learn how to deliver high-quality work within set deadlines. Freelancing also reinforced my adaptability, as I’ve had to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks depending on client needs. Whether working with Python, Django, or optimizing existing code, I’ve always approached problems with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue developing my expertise in Python, Django, and AI-assisted systems. My diverse background, which bridges web design, 3D modeling, VFX, and programming, gives me a unique perspective when tackling complex projects. I’m confident that my ability to blend creativity with technical skills will allow me to contribute valuable insights to any project, ensuring it meets both functional and creative requirements.
