As Interim HR Manager, I am responsible for building and structuring all HR-related processes for the German operations of an internationally active construction company headquartered in Belgium.
The company is undergoing a period of rapid growth, particularly in Germany, where no established HR structures currently exist. My responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing efficient HR processes tailored to the German market
- Ensuring accurate preparation and execution of payroll in close coordination with the external payroll provider and the Belgian accounting department
- Supporting compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Collaborating closely with the international HR team to align cross-border HR topics
- Establishing a professional recruitment process for both blue- and white-collar positions
- Managing the onboarding process for new employees, particularly skilled international workers
- Supporting the development of a sustainable HR structure to ensure long-term personnel growth

- International recruitment and placement of experts in the AI sector (including marketing, proactive candidate outreach, conducting interviews, contract preparation, and onboarding)
- Development of HR structures and processes (both analog and digital)
- Review of employment contract documents
