End to end implementation of a Distribution Centre in the UK for Brooks Running.
- Set project objectives, scope, plans and risk management
- Establish cross functional and cross organizational project team, incl 3rd parts supplier team
- Project governance and risk management processes
- Day to day project management and progress against plan
- Set transition strategy and plan
- Objectives delivery to plan, scope and quality
- Hand-over to BAU and project close
- Responsible for the implementation/upgrade of OTM globally for DHL Supply Chain. Scope includes the upgrade to an “off-premise“ solution for some geographies and the new implementation of OTM in locations where there have been recent acquisitions. In total 34 OTM environments in scope.
My responsibilities include- Programme set-up – define scope, objectives, team structure, benefits measurement, comms
strategy and plan, risk and issue management - Consult DHL BU`s as to the optimal set-up in order to meet customer needs whilst
balancing cost and managing risk and service quality - Day to day management of the programme of work incorporating 3rd party providers such as
Infosys and Oracle.

- A study by AT Kearney concluded that JM maturity in managing and providing logistics is below industrystandards. Asetofrecommendationstoimprovethestatusquostartingwithapilotin North America & APAC and then increase the scope to global scale, in all areas of logistic and end to end supply chain.
My specific duties include;- Set-up the programme of work for the APAC & NA pilot.
- Build a business case including the investments is capital and people.
- Identify areas of improvement using root cause analysis and benchmarking against industry standards.
- Put together a programme of work incl; governance, PID ́s, planning, business case, team structure and risk/issue management.
- Execute against the plan and deliver the benefits.
- In parallel, ramp-up the next phase of the programme looking at logistics operations in
APAC. - Supplier negotiations (contractual and operational) with freight forwarders and 3PL ́s
- In scope are; logistic related to direct materials, inbound to manufacturing as well as the
logistics related to finished goods to customers. - All modes (air, sea, road and rail) of transport and warehousing are within the scope of
work. - Looking at network design, cost and quality management at the same time ensuring to meet
JM ́s sustainability goals, specifically related to reducing green house gasses.
