Challenge:
Current conflicts show a new type of arms-race by leveraging AI and COTS components into sophisticated makeshift solutions. The project aims to counter these threats by exploiting the same means and developing counter-solutions (especially in the field of air-defence).

Development of an AI drone showcase

Challenge:
A global leading player in the field of defence/security was in search of a showcase to present the application of Edge-AI technology to solve actual use-cases in their domain.

Tasks:

• Development of suitable use-cases with the companies sector head
• Screening of state-of-the-art AI capabilities and selection of implementation showcase
• Design AI-pipeline (from traning data generation to result integration)
• Setup of complete MLOps pipeline and solution building
• Alignment of showcase capabilites with business experts of the company
• Presentation of the running showcase towards international business experts

Results:
The interactive showcase was highly praised as an actual working example of using AI technology to support an actual challenge in the defence/security domain. Building confidence in the overall applicability of AI-technology is current and future projects.
