My name is Julian Meinjohanns, and I am a software developer specializing in application development with extensive experience in both backend and frontend development. Since August 2021, I have been working as a Backend Developer at Lufthansa Industry Solutions AS GmbH, where I contribute to various cloud-based and enterprise-level software projects. Prior to this, I completed my apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development at the Higher Regional Court of Oldenburg. However, my experience in IT dates back to August 2018, providing me with a solid foundation of knowledge and practical expertise.
Throughout my career, I have taken on multiple roles, including Scrum Master, backend developer, and frontend developer. My primary focus has been in backend development, where I have worked on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based Rest services. Some of my core technical competencies include working with WinForms, WPF, and MS SQL, as well as performing software analysis and design. In recent projects, I have gained expertise in cloud migration, particularly helping clients migrate from AWS to Azure. My knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes has expanded significantly through courses and certifications, including the Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD). I am highly skilled in containerization and cloud infrastructure management, which allows me to assist clients in modernizing and scaling their applications.
In terms of industry experience, I have primarily worked within the justice and automotive sectors. I am well-versed in the complexities of these industries, particularly in ensuring data security and managing sensitive information.

Project Experience

One of the key projects I have worked on was with Volkswagen AG in the automotive sector. I played a key role in the development of a backend service called ODP MS RSAFE, which aggregates and provides critical data related to fuel stations, electric charging points, dealerships, and general vehicle information. In this project, I was responsible for analyzing requirements, designing interfaces, technical documentation, and advising clients on cloud infrastructure and migration.
In the justice sector, I have successfully developed applications for both full-stack and backend roles. For example, I led a project for the ordinary courts in Lower Saxony, where I developed a unified service for booking official vehicles for court employees. In addition, I developed a digital intelligence test application for correctional facilities, ensuring high data security standards.
