- Led the product development process of the start-ups newest healthcare app from product idea to go-tomarket (first 300 users) by implementing a rigorous data- and user feedback based agile development process.
- Planned and oversaw budget (€180'000/year), long term goals and general strategic direction (market segment, user targeting, feature decisions).
- Managed both internal and external stakeholder relationships; project in partnership with a large multinational company and a research institute (revenue-led: ca. 500'000EUR).
- Built a product team of five by monitoring team metrics, setting up team and communication structures and regular feedback sessions.
- Developed and set up consumer support process and guidelines, using not only E-mail, Phone and Website chat, but also WhatsApp, PlayStore & AppStore reviews . Frequently carried out customer support, working with fellow product managers to improve experience across products as well as to increase support efficiency.
- Developed an app that provided an inventory managment system for small-scale retailers
- Led the product and business development: Set up and executed on the strategic direction of project and business; led design, development and roll-out of MVP in three urban markets in Nairobi.
- Secured €10'000 initial funding from grants 3 months after project start ; later led investor and external stakeholder relations, initiated seed funding round.
