* Prepare supporting documentation and/or reports on issues or requests
* 2nd tier support of secure network clients on NetBackup
* Develop best practices, policies and standards
* Serve as first point of contact from vendor on problems/issues in the NetBackup environment
* Identify areas of improvement, additional training opportunities, or gaps in team knowledge

* Leading of cloud servicing project (backup), ownership from Germany, planing, mantaining,
servicing
* Leading of deep technical suport subteam for backup cloud service (3 people)
* Configuration and maintenance of server backups (more than 1500 boxes)
* Configuration and maintenance of ESL tape libraries
* Configuration and maintenance of VLS libraries
* Installing and Configuring HP Data Protector Backup software
* Adjust network components and settings for the requirements of the successful backup
* Doing proposals and requirements to SAN configuration and settings
* Periodic upgrades of new software releases (including possible document conversions)
* Proactively identifying possible issues through operational monitoring and checking of all
applications, hardware
* Creating Media Pools with data cartridge like daily, weekly and monthly
* Creating Backup Policies like daily, weekly and monthly with protection period
* Integrating SQL server, Exchange Server, ORACLE, SAP, VMware Environment with Data
Protector for Backup
* Supporting backup for clustered solutions
* Scheduling the backup jobs as per customer requirement
* Backup reporting
* Media management, capacity planing
* Investigation and resolution of all Incidents
* Provide management information and recommendations for service improvement
* Duty Manager or nominated third line on-call support staff
