Experienced IT Systems Administrator with 20+ years in Windows/Linux Server Management

I am an experienced IT Systems Engineer and technician with more than two decades of hands-on expertise in infrastructure, field support, and technical project delivery. My career has given me a balanced mix of deep technical knowledge, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Over the years I have built a reputation for being reliable, proactive, and committed to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.   My technical background spans both Windows and Linux environments. I am fluent in the administration of Windows Server (all major versions) and Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. I also have strong experience with Exchange (2013/2016), VMware vSphere, clustering and high-availability solutions, SAN/NAS technologies such as 3PAR and EMC, and enterprise backup/restore systems like NetBackup. On the Linux side, I have worked extensively with Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, and AIX. I regularly use PowerShell and Bash scripting to automate tasks, enforce compliance, and accelerate troubleshooting. This breadth of knowledge allows me to adapt quickly to different client environments and deliver results without delay.   From 2020 until 2025, I worked as IT Systems Administrator at PNZ-Produkte GmbH in Bavaria. In this role I was responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including installation of desktops, server monitoring, network management, and disaster recovery. I coordinated proactive investigations into problems, performed root-cause analysis, and implemented sustainable fixes. I also ensured full documentation and compliance with internal and external standards. I hold a Europass Electrician certificate and have practical experience with hardware installation, rack work, and cable management. I have worked in logistics and professional driving, which provided skills in planning, transportation, and safe handling of equipment. During the Ukraine crisis, I volunteered to deliver aid and transport people across borders—an experience that demonstrates my reliability, discipline, and commitment to helping others.   I am multilingual, with native Bulgarian, fluent English and Russian, and intermediate German.
