Flint group manufacture printing inks for the packaging industry.
The project was to remove and where necessary relocate process equipment, enabling the installation of additional new automated equipment to increase process speeds and productivity. 
The new equipment was integrated into the older control and recipe handling systems.
Additional dust extraction and cooling system upgrade was also undertaken.

Due to reorganisation and streamlining of the business sever projects were undertaken simultaneously.
Process machinery removal and relocation, Installation of new process heating and cooling equipment 
Decommissioning of the old heating and cooling systems and building demolition.

Restructuring of site systems.
I worked alongside the Flint projects team, coordinating activities, and ensuring the project was installed to meet their expectations.

I was the main project contact and responsible person on site. Working with the EHS manager to ensure safe activities and coordinating with the design teams and management at Musk Process Services in the UK.
Due to the size of the production facility this was an 18 month long project with 60+ contractors on site in various disciplines most weeks. Pipefitter welders, electricians, software engineers and demolition teams to name a few.
As this project run through the world pandemic and Brexit, with the principal contractors and management being UK based with the remaining contractors from various corners of Europe I am happy that the project was completed successfully and the Flint obtained the results they required.

Due to reorganisation and streamlining of the business Flint Group USA relocated assets and closed some facilities across the USA,
I managed various machine moves, asset relocations and factory closures for several months in various locations, Los Angelis Kentucky  Cincinnati and Minneapolis,
