Projekthistorie
As a key member of Umicore’s Global Procurement and Transportation Excellence (PTX) team, I spearhead the global sourcing program with a focus on:
•
Strategic Sourcing: Collaborating closely with procurement managers to develop a robust sourcing pipeline and executing aligned global sourcing and upstream objectives, establishing best-practice approaches.
•
Template Design and Event Management: Designing and configuring templates, executing sourcing events, and leveraging advanced features such as Sourcing Event Management and auction/negotiation strategies.
In my capacity as a Source-to-Pay (S2P) systems expert, I support Umicore's Global user community and Ariba adoption. Local Ariba and SAP users (buyers, requesters and approvers) benefit from my full life cycle procurement expertise and support.

Process Optimization: Assisting Global Process Owners (GPOs) in optimizing global processes in Ariba and procurement policies, ensuring managers, their teams, and suppliers understand and adhere to these processes.

Strategic Transformation: Implementing the S2P digitization roadmap in alignment with GPOs, driving compliance and adoption of the Global S2P Template.

User Support and Training: Developing user support resources, coaching BIT, and training local Ariba key users on resolving Ariba and SAP issues. Leading the optimization of local training resources and delivering SAP Fiori and Ariba trainings.

Change Management: Supporting the global implementation change plan,
As a key member of bp’s Global Business Services (GBS) for Finance and Procurement, I led the deployment of an integrated invoice solution in Germany, combining SAP ERP, SRM, and Ariba/SAP Business Network systems. Utilizing SCRUM methodology and tools, I provided critical guidance during Fit-to-Template, user testing, supplier enablement, cutover preparations, change management, and training phases. I served as the single point of contact for process, system, and change value questions, effectively mediating between local clients and global program management. My role ensured the alignment of standardization goals with local business requirements.
In multiple SAP P2P implementations (Ariba Spend Management for BP’s UK businesses and ECC for the Middle East), I represented AirBP’s interests, ensuring that their Source-to-Pay (S2P) requirements and KPIs were met. In a SCRUM-driven project, my team and I managed user acceptance tests, contract and master data migration, training delivery, supplier enablement, communications, buying channel analysis, Guided Buying configuration, and provided procurement guidance to our Global Business Services (GBS) teams. Additionally, I was a member of a committee that prepared the next S2P deployments for additional AirBP countries as part of a multi-year, country-by-country roadmap and engaged in pitches with several prospects.
