Nils Jung is a Freelance Management Consultant. Recently he did perform for 2 years the role of the COO and Member of the Management Team at Phi Partners Global Limited, a London based IT consultancy, which operates in all areas of the Summit Trading platform from T&M to Advisory and Managed Services. Besides of his day to day job, he was involved in major strategic initiatives of the company, such as driving to companys extension in products, services and regions, including various investment and M&A scenarios. He was also acting as the bid manager for 20m EUR plus RfP processes for large scale projects.
He has a strong financial services background with over 10 years of experience in strategy and process consulting, gained in top-tier global consultancy companies (Oliver Wyman, Capco, Capgemini) Prior his COO role, Nils Jung was a manager focused in activities on global Payments and Transactions Services as well as Securities Processing. In this area he has led multiple strategic transformation (up to a team size of 40+ in 10 different countries) and compliance projects for key pan-European players. Nils publishes regularly papers and articles and has co-authored a study for the EU-Commission on payments.
Nils Jung holds a Master business degree from the University of Frankfurt and is fluent in German and English. He worked for Oliver Wyman, Capco, Capgemini and Hauck&Aufhäuser Privatbankiers. He is a Six-Sigma green belt and holds the PINCE2 certification.
