Software Development Engineer: AWS / Python / Java / Flutter / C++

In AWS, I continued to work on an end-to-end cloud solution: Amazon Monitron. I designed and implemented main microservices and features. As part of expanding the service, implementing automated testing, alarming and dashboards grew in importance to assure quality, security and scalability.

In my master’s thesis the data set of the Singaporean train system was explored. Different trajectory recovery algorithms were analysed on their performance against different aggregation levels, intended to provide anonymity. Also scalable, parallelizable optimisation algorithms have been implemented.

In this internship, I was able to gain more hands on experience in machine learning and data science.
Evaluating and working with different AWS services to enable an end-to-end solution was the main task.
The result was one of the cornerstones of today's Amazon Monitron.
