At Cardentity I rebuilt their middleware, replacing an outdated PHP Shopware backend with a modern, scalable Nest.js‑based TypeScript API serving both B2C and B2B customers. This decoupling allowed the existing Shopware front‑end to remain unchanged but operate via the new API. I also developed an internal admin dashboard and external customer portal using React Admin, set up automated testing with Jest, browser-based end‑to‑end checks via Puppeteer, and containerized the stack with docker‑compose. In just a few months, this overhaul eliminated significant technical debt, improved maintainability and deployment reliability, and positioned Cardentity for future growth—enabling seamless integration of new client types and external platforms.

As Product Manager & Technical Lead, I built and led a team of 10 developers, overseeing both technical development and product strategy while remaining hands-on.
