I’m a senior front-end engineer specialising in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, with extensive experience delivering high-traffic, accessible, and performant web applications for organisations including the Premier League, the British Film Institute, and Argos.

Delivered a complete front-end rebrand of the Premier League Primary Stars platform using vanilla JavaScript (ES6+) and modern CSS. Refreshed the UX, added new features, and ensured the site was accessible, performant, and responsive, meeting a tight six-month deadline.
Built BFI Replay, a Heritage 2022 video-on-demand platform for UK public libraries. Developed a server-rendered React single-page app using TypeScript and Styled Components. Ensured accessibility, performance optimisation, and scalability. Collaborated on component library design (Figma, Storybook), implemented CI/CD pipelines, and introduced features like inactivity detection and content reporting workflows.
Led front-end development across Checkout and Post-Order teams, helping modernise Argos’ eCommerce platform from a Java-based monolith to a modular React architecture. Delivered features such as login flows, checkout journeys, and warranty upsells. Took ownership of front-end direction, mentored developers, and worked closely with stakeholders to align technical delivery with business goals.
