The following profile outlines and clarifies the technological and professional circumstances that have characterized my projects over the past 25 years and at the same time gives an overview of the qualifications that I was able to collect in the course of this. It makes it clear that I was able to lend a hand both in a theoretically advisory and operationally casual manner. I see myself neither as an inhabitant of the architectural ivory tower nor as a technical nerd - but perhaps as a dialectic hybrid of these two clichés.
It also reflects my development from development junior to lead developer and software architect, from DevOps engineer to cloud - or general solution architect. I have passionately followed the development of recent years, which culminated in the triumph of cloud infrastructures and container orchestrations, right from the start. An essential - because indispensable - valued paradigm that flanked all of this was the imperative for the greatest possible automation of the deployment processes through pipelining and the definition of the infrastructure as code.
With the latest developments, I expect a significant transformation of the current IT development landscape towards a democratization of corporate knowledge and its electronic processing, especially from the NoCode initiatives - and at the same time I keep an interested eye on the developments in data science and AI, an old preference from student days, which - even though I was no longer quite young - pushed me back onto the university desk.
All in all, I am looking forward to an exciting professional future, the sectors, technologies and people that still await me and I am still a convinced freelancer, despite all the existential challenges I have overcome - the sky is the limit.
