Our client is a Frankfurt-based organisation in the logistics industry, operating large-scale digital platforms that support international freight management, warehouse operations and real-time supply chain visibility. With several hundred specialists across Germany, the company enables reliable global logistics processes by designing and running secure, scalable and compliant cloud infrastructures. Their portfolio includes cloud-native operations systems, data integration services, real-time tracking solutions and high-availability logistics platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and evolve secure, scalable cloud architectures for logistics platforms using AWS
  2. Define cloud landing zones, network topologies and identity structures to meet operational, performance and compliance requirements
  3. Support migration of legacy supply chain applications to cloud-native designs, including workload assessment and modernisation
  4. Implement IaC templates, governance policies and automation pipelines to ensure consistency and reliability across distributed environments
  5. Collaborate closely with data engineering, cybersecurity and operations teams to optimise performance and ensure resilient system design
  6. Review and improve cloud cost models, security controls and architectural standards across multiple logistics functions
  7. Produce architectural documentation, diagrams and guidelines to support engineering teams and internal stakeholders
  8. Provide 3rd-level expertise for complex cloud issues and guide teams on best practices in cloud architecture
What You Bring
  1. Strong experience designing and implementing cloud architectures in enterprise environments
  2. Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM principles and compliance frameworks
  3. Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes
  4. Proficiency with infrastructure automation using Terraform
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated deployment workflows
  6. Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus
  7. Analytical, structured and proactive approach with strong communication skills
  8. Very good German and good English skills, spoken and written
