For our customer we are looking for a Customer Engag. (Util.) Dev. Consultant (f/m/d) to support the project.
HintergrundThe project focuses on implementing SAP S/4HANA Utilities to support core business processes for the energy retail, distribution system operator (DSO), and meter systems operator market roles for both electricity and gas, leveraging a hybrid landscape with integrated cloud solutions.
AufgabenTechnical design and realization of existing requirements backlog in customer services area BSP enhancements Design, extend, and optimize CRM WebClient UI components using the BSP Workbench, including views, controllers, context nodes, event handling, and UI configuration. Implement AET-based field enhancements, UI personalization options, result list field catalogs, and toolbar/actions aligned with Utilities use cases. Maintain navigation bar profiles, business roles, application configurations, and Transaction Launcher links to IS-U transactions where relevant. BOL/GENIL/Business Layer (BL) for Utilities modeling and development Extend and adapt BOL/GENIL object models, queries, and services to support Utilities-specific data and processes. Implement custom search objects, query services, and model enhancements; ensure data consistency, buffering, and performance best practices on HANA. Interaction Center search and navigation (Utilities ) Design and enhance IC WebClient searches for Utilities-relevant objects Configure and optimize search criteria, result lists, and cross-object navigation
1. Enhance CRM WebClient UI Components:
Task: Based on backlog requirements, design, extend, and optimize specific CRM WebClient UI components (e.g., views, controllers, context nodes) using the BSP Workbench. Deliverable: Fully coded, tested, and documented UI components for the functionalities specified in the assigned backlog items, including event handling and UI configuration.
2. Implement UI Extensions and Configurations:
Task: Implement field enhancements using the Application Enhancement Tool (AET) and configure related UI elements for specific Utilities use cases. Deliverable: A set of functional enhancements including all specified AET fields, personalized UI options, updated result list field catalogs, and configured toolbar actions. Deliverable also includes updated configuration for navigation bar profiles, business roles, and Transaction Launcher links as required by the backlog.
3. Develop BOL/GENIL Model Extensions:
Task: Extend and adapt the BOL/GENIL object models, queries, and services to integrate Utilities-specific data and processes. Deliverable: The developed and documented ABAP-based extensions for the required BOL/GENIL objects, including custom query services and search objects. The solution must ensure data consistency and meet performance best practices on HANA.
4. Implement and Optimize Interaction Center (IC) Searches:
Task: Design, configure, and enhance IC WebClient search capabilities for key Utilities-relevant objects (e.g., Business Partner, Premise, Connection Object). Deliverable: A fully configured and optimized set of search profiles, including documented search criteria, result lists, and cross-object navigation links, validated against the specified performance and functional requirements.
QualifikationenCore Technical Skills
- SAP CRM WebClient UI Development:
- Expertise in BSP Workbench for designing, extending, and optimizing UI components (views, controllers, context nodes).
- Strong knowledge of event handling, UI configuration, and personalization options.
- Experience with Application Enhancement Tool (AET) for field enhancements and UI extensions.
- Ability to configure navigation bar profiles, business roles, and Transaction Launcher links.
- BOL/GENIL Framework:
- Proficient in extending and adapting BOL/GENIL object models, queries, and services.
- Skilled in implementing custom search objects and query services.
- Understanding of data consistency, buffering, and performance optimization on SAP HANA.
- Interaction Center (IC) Enhancements:
- Ability to design and configure IC WebClient searches for Utilities-relevant objects (e.g., Business Partner, Premise, Connection Object).
- Experience in optimizing search criteria, result lists, and cross-object navigation.
