Service description:
As part of the Customer Department, the Connection Lifecycle initiative is transforming how our customers interact with our company, making all steps of the connection journey more transparent, efficient, and data-driven. The project covers the full process: connection requests, technical and administrative document management, modifications, and termination. By leveraging digital solutions, we aim to simplify collaboration, enhance operational security, and provide grid users with the best possible support and responsiveness.
The current process is supported by a highly customized SAP CRM on-premise system which will be decommissioned in the future and replaced by a custom development on BTP and integration with sales modules on the S4HANA 2023 back-end and extended with other IT components like the EPIC customer portal.
To support this transformation, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Full-stack SAP BTP Developer to join our Connection Lifecycle team.
You will operate in a dedicated product team within the OneSAP+ product cluster. Our Company is operating on an S4HANA 2023 system and front-runner in adoption of new innovations.
The perfect candidate is a full-stack SAP BTP developer with experience in Fiori/UI5, CAP, CDS, and Node.js.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in full-stack development or equal through motivation.
- Hands-on expertise with Fiori Elements and UI5 for front-end work
- Strong knowledge of CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and CDS (Core Data Services) for back-end development
- Must have advanced skills in Javascript (or Typescript) and back-end Node.js
- Is a plus: experience in SAP SD implementation and build process
- Confident handling of DevOps practices as well as tools such as Git and transport management in Cloud ALM.

- Experience in working with the ticket tool Jira
- Team player
- Languages: English and one of the following Dutch/French/German
Additional information:
- Location: the team is working from the Sablon and Empereur building in the center of Brussels (near Central station).
- 2 days per week on-site in Brussels are mandatory, up to 3 days remote possible.
- Travelling 2-3 days to Berlin once or twice per year may be part of the assignment.
