Project Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Forensics Analyst to conduct digital forensic investigations related to security incidents. The goal is to analyze, document and report on attacks and their root causes.
- Perform digital forensic analysis, including:
- Evidence acquisition and forensic imaging
- Analysis of email forensics, registry, user activity, artifacts, memory, files, logs, browsers, and timelines
- Malware investigation and anti-forensic detection
- Social media forensics
- Provide clear incident reports and updates to the project team.
- Maintain an error-free chain of custody for all forensic images.
- Analyze logs and system events for signs of malicious activity.
- Identify attack vectors, compromised data, and attacker tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Collect and analyze forensic evidence for legal or regulatory purposes and deliver to the client for retention.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Security.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Law enforcement evidence seizure processes
- Malware analysis or reverse engineering
- Timeline analysis and data carving
- Security incident artifact analysis
- Network forensics
- EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) certification is a plus.
- Full forensic investigation of a specific security incident.
- Deliverables include a detailed timeline, entry point analysis, and assessment of compromised data.
