Freelance Frontend Developer (React 18/19 / Vite / Web Performance)

Duration: until end of January (option to extend)

Location: 100% remote

We need a frontend engineer with a deep understanding of core React concepts and strong web performance skills. TypeScript is optional — React fundamentals and performance expertise matter most.

Responsibilities

• Development & integration with React 18/19 and Vite

• Performance work: rendering behavior, profiling, bundle optimization

• State management with Redux or Zustand

• Improve build & deploy pipeline (AWS Amplify, CodePipeline, CodeBuild)

• Integrate with a Node.js / AWS Serverless backend

• Adjustments to the admin panel (React static site, Cognito auth)

• Debugging and stabilization during the app merge

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React fundamentals (hooks, component lifecycle, memoization, performance tools)

• Experience with Vite, modern state management, and scalable frontend architectures

• Track record in migrations, refactoring, or consolidation projects

• Clear communication and independent, fast execution in a remote setup

Nice to Have
