Role : Data Engineer
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months & option to extend
Location : Zurich, Switzerland
Work model : 3 days Onsite, 2 days remote.
Mandatory Skills: Scala, Spark, SQL, Azure, Databricks
Desired Skill: PySpark, ETL, Agile
Relevant experience : 7+ years
Joh Description:
- Have 7+ years of hands-on design and development experience in several of the relevant technology areas (Scala, Apache Spark, Azure Data Lake, Postgres, Airflow, Databricks etc.)
- Strong coding skills in Scala, Spark, SQL (must have)
- Experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)
- Have Agile, Test Driven Development and DevOps practices part of your DNA
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams
- Background in IB or Finance domain with good understanding of finance principles (added advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity
- Have a degree level education; preferably Computer Science (Bachelor or Master’s degree)
