Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-level network infrastructure. The role involves designing, deploying, and securing complex Layer 2/3 networks, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across data centers and WAN environments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Execute implementation plans for Layer 2/3 enterprise networks, including Spanning Tree, VLANs, VPCs, Port Channels, redundant ISP connectivity, and WAN integration.
  2. Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot networks and related environments (hardware, software, configurations).
  3. Deploy and manage site-to-site and client-based VPNs, configure IPsec, and maintain MPLS tunnels.
  4. Implement and update firewall perimeters and network protection plans.
  5. Perform network segmentation and secure VPN/Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) deployment.
  6. Conduct initial assessments, refine firewall rules, block IOCs, and patch network appliances.

Required Skills & Experience:
  1. Hands-on experience with network protocols: TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, Wireless LANs, VPN.
  2. Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, WAN technologies (MPLS, Point-to-Point, MAN, Wireless), LAN design standards, and data center network design.
  3. Familiarity with security standards and ASA firewall best practices.
  4. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to stakeholders.
  5. Customer service and solution-oriented mindset.
  6. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

  1. Firewall rule analysis and refinement.
  2. Blocking Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
  3. Traffic control for ingress/egress.
  4. Appliance patching and updates.
  5. Network segmentation for critical systems.
