Beschreibung

iO Associates, is seeking a Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) for a Freelancer position.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Palantir Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to lead the full lifecycle of data-driven solution development. As an FDE, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand complex business challenges, build impactful solutions using Palantir Foundry, and drive adoption across organisations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the full lifecycle of solution development: from requirement gathering to scaling.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define problem statements and solution roadmaps.
  3. Ingest and transform data from diverse sources using Palantir Foundry tools.
  4. Create and manage Ontology Objects, Links, and Actions.
  5. Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Foundry tools.
  6. Convert prototypes into production-grade solutions and drive adoption.
  7. Implement data validation, monitoring, and documentation for governance and compliance.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape decision-making workflows.

Essential Skills & Experience:
  1. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and optionally Java/Scala.
  2. Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry tools.
  3. End-to-end solution development experience.
  4. Strong understanding of data architecture.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and learn new tools quickly.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  2. Prior experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms.
  3. Domain experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, Finance, Healthcare, Logistics, Aerospace, or Defence.
  4. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

  5. Immediate start
  6. 6 months initial contract length, extensions likely
  7. Competitive daily rate
