Job Title: SAP HCM Senior Developer – Personnel Administration / Organizational Management

Location: Remote (approx. 95%) with occasional on-site work in Dresden (approx. 5%)

Duration: Until end of December 2025 + 2026 (2,000hrs Extension)

Start: December 2025 (Ideally)

Nationality / Language: Must be a German national with excellent written and spoken German

For a 2025 engagement with potential extension, we are looking for a SAP HCM Senior Developer specialising in Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM), with a strong technical background in ABAP/ABAP OO in the HCM environment.

Your responsibilities
  1. Independently conceptualise and coordinate SAP HCM PA/OM solutions with business stakeholders
  2. Implement tasks in Personnel Administration and Organizational Management while adhering to established development guidelines
  3. Document concepts, changes, and processes in Confluence and JIRA
  4. Produce clear and robust functional implementation descriptions for the development team
  5. Coordinate and collaborate closely with ABAP developers on development activities
  6. Conduct initial functional acceptance and testing of in-house developments
  7. Participate in regular coordination meetings with training, QA, and development teams
Your profile
  1. Several years of professional experience in implementation, configuration, and optimisation of SAP HCM solutions
  2. Solid knowledge of SAP HCM PA and OM
  3. Experience with SAP Query
  4. Strong analytical skills to understand and translate customer requirements into technical solutions
  5. Very good communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  6. Technical background with overview knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO in the HCM context
  7. Solution-oriented working style with experience in hybrid and agile project methodologies
  8. Ideally, knowledge of organizational structure management and experience in the public sector
  9. German national with excellent written and spoken German
What’s on offer
  1. Approx. 95% remote work, with around 5% on-site presence in Dresden
  2. Engagement planned for 2025 with an option for multi-year extension (potentially around 2,000 hours in 2026)
