SAP MES Rollout Manager (m/f/d) - 37989

For our customer, we are looking for an SAP MES Rollout Manager (m/f/d).

Project goal: Rollout of the SAP DM-based MES template solution to a factory in Austria.

Project tasks:

• Investigate local requirements and align them with the modular solution space of the MES solution.


• Coordinate all IT-related aspects of design, build, test, data migration, cutover, and hypercare.


• Develop and implement communication, change management, and training plans to ensure smooth adoption of SAP DM.


• Plan project phases, including specific work packages, and coordinate the project plan with Team Leads, Business Core Team Members, and relevant stakeholders.


• Ensure alignment of the IT infrastructure setup and manage design approvals in compliance with the MES guidelines of the client.


• Contract and coordinate external partners and consultants to support project activities.


• Ensure adherence to IT project methodology, including fulfilling Quality Gate requirements and reporting the project status and progress at regular intervals.


• Prepare and moderate Steering Committee meetings, ensuring all decisions are documented and actionable.


• Manage dependencies with other projects and the template team.


• Oversee the rollout of specific End-to-End processes.


• Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.


• Collaborate with country-specific projects or deliverables that may impact the final setup or configuration.


• Facilitate end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new systems and processes.


• Provide technical leadership to local teams and ensure alignment across stakeholders.


• Apply systematic scope change management and risk mitigation strategies.

Skills and professional qualifications:

• Experienced IT Project Manager.


• Strong background in SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing).


• Project Manager with experience in MES projects.


• Experience working in Agile projects with user stories and Jira.


• Proven experience in global organizations with cross-functional teams aiming to harmonize processes.


• Several full-cycle projects as an IT Project Manager.


• Background in complex projects (with complex governance structures and multiple stakeholders with different objectives).


• Excellent German and English language skills.


• Outstanding communication skills across all stakeholder levels.


• Experience in developing change management and training strategies.

Remote work: 90%, occasional travel for workshops
