Beschreibung

We are looking for a Solution Architect for Website CMS Migration for our client to support a large-scale CMS migration project. The role involves designing and implementing the technical architecture for content, data, and interface migration across CMS platforms.

Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze existing content structures (taxonomies, metadata, content types) to identify migration challenges.
  2. Plan and design content migration strategies, including mapping between source and target structures.
  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and editorial teams to define content retention, deletion, and recreation.
  4. Manage structured and unstructured content migration, including components, tags, embedded HTML, and iFrames.
  5. Ensure a seamless transition of media assets, links, and metadata.

Required Skills & Experience:

CMS Expertise:
  1. In-depth knowledge and experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  2. Understanding of CMS architecture, data models, and extensions
  3. Proven experience in migration projects between different CMS systems
  4. Familiarity with additional CMS solutions is a plus
Webshop Systems:
  1. Practical experience with at least one major webshop system and its APIs
API & Integration:
  1. Strong experience developing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP APIs
  2. Experience in GraphQL and OAuth authentication
  3. Understanding of webhooks and event-driven architectures
Database & Development:
  1. Solid SQL expertise for data management and migration
  2. Strong proficiency in Java for web and backend development
  3. Familiarity with Apache, Docker, and AWS environments
  4. Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines

Project Details:
Location: 100% remote (occasional on-site presence in Vienna preferred)
Start: January / February 2026
Duration: 12 months (full-time, approx. 160 hours/month)
Languages: German and English (business fluent)
